WARNING: Please check both your volume setting, and resolution setting, make sure they're where you like them! Because the game defaults the volume at 0 for some reason...


Improvements and Tweaks

  • Improved the options screen, and completely changed the settings to use pages.
    • The options menu doesn't actually have any help tip popups right now, I might wanna add those when I begin using JSON for text elements and poster texts later on down the line.
  • You can now choose the 480 x 360 resolution in the Graphics settings.
  • All levels now use Occlusion Culling, to help improve performance
  • The "Volume" setting is now called "Global Volume"
    • This is because it controls the Volume of the entire game.
    • A music volume setting is planned to be added, but not until V0.2.4, or V0.3. I'm aiming to add that in since I'm completely altering how music is managed in the near future. So if the music is still loud in the school, it's because you can't change the volume for music yet, haha!
  • You can now change your sensitivity in game, and not have to worry about quitting to the main menu everytime you wanna fix your sensitivity.
    • This change was introduced in the previous update V0.2.2, I just forgot to mention that I had made that change :P
  • You can now toggle Vsync on or off
    • This is to prevent occasional screen-tearing you might get without having it on!
  • Completely changed how the Objective text in the Forest field trip is managed.
  • Added more to the Objective for the Forest field trip
    • You now actually have to do something before you can escape to the bus
  • There are many improvements to the ending sequence, play for yourself to find out what changes I have made. I still don't wish to spoil the ending for new players of this mod, or returning players
    • There is now improved visual queuing to hint at where the glitched pieces (artifacts) are
    • One thing to note is that once you find one, another one spawns, so be sure to search everywhere around the map, even out of the map.
  • Improved the authenicity of the game's music by replacing some of the baseline tracks with midi files, similarly to how the older games used to manage music.
    • There are some tracks that won't be turned into midi tracks at all for now because I didn't save them as midis at the time of making them, so that means I have to completely remake alot of the tracks as midi files in order to put them in the game, but a majority of the time you can't really notice that there are midis playing! So until I remake songs like the forest song as a midi, you won't be seeing any other big midis until a future update releases.
  • Added Dynamic Music in Tobe's Place whenever you open a specific type of book!
    • Percussion indicates a fun book
    • Bass indicates Serious book
    • Piano indicates informal book
  • ALL of the current posters in the game, have been remastered to use the Baldi's Basics Plus V0.3.5 style, chalkboards and things like that have not been altered as I don't plan to make this game have many different languages.
  • Okay so.. I was originally planning to make the game more difficult in this update, however I plan to save that for V0.2.4, and that update isn't coming anytime soon, as I'm persistently finetuning everything to make sure it's all running fluidly. And even though I say there will be a V0.2.4, it may just wind up being V0.3, as I might include Floor Two by the time that update is done.
  • Mrs. Pomp's Classes are now randomly chosen and no longer preset
    • Previously, you'd need to attend the same class, now you have to search for her other classes.
  • The Quick Map now uses icons!
    • Press "TAB" to toggle this on or off, however, I plan to also add in a full sized Map for you to view in the YCTP once V0.2.4 is released, and while you can't exactly move it around or zoom in, it'll still be better to have it than to not. :P
  • Added a loose apple tree
    • This apple tree is different from the traditional apple trees found in Baldi's Basics Plus, the apple on this tree cannot be dislodged with a grappling hook (at the time of writing), it currently will fall from the tree at a random time in your game, so that you cannot just go run up and grab it the moment you load into the level.
  • Baldi will now gradually speed up to the point of no escape once you reach the 3rd exit.
    • And all characters, EXCEPT for the Principal of the Thing and Baldi (Obviously..), will be disabled.



Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the bug that allowed you to click multiple times on the Credits screen and cause a scene overload
  • Fixed the bug that caused the transition effect to completely warp the screen at times
