The future plans for the mod.
As you all know, my current code for my characters is not final. That said, I'll eventually be refactoring code for those characters. Rewriting the functions, polishing off the functions, and testing them to make sure they work correctly. I don't plan on touching up on the back ported characters though :P
Field Trips
With camping now in the game I feel like my field trips are complete... not, I still plan on adding at least 3 more field trips. But... If a canon one suddenly gets released in Baldi's Basics Plus... I will have my take on it, and that will be part of my mod. The rest might just be my own field trips, you might go to the moon, or you might visit the zoo... (these are examples that probably won't be coming to the game) and yes I'll still be making improvements to camping as time persists.
Possible Save System
The campaign menu will most likely be changed to Level Select, due to my choice of making the current mode "Randomized" the actual campaign that you have to progress through. Before I actually go about that plan I must make a save system, because (who would want to spend at least 6 or so hours playing a mod without taking any breaks right?) pausing right now doesn't allow you to save where you left off, instead you have the option to quit and quit only. When I make my save system I want it to be the best it can be, even if I have to code it from scratch. Hopefully I can really make a save system possible in a mod. Once you're in control of a unity project your mind can only open up so much. (Not to mention the numerous crashes I had to deal with while testing features [too much scene restoration])
Transitions
Transitions through levels will be semi smooth with the new elevator screen I've added, originally I wasn't going to directly rip the elevator screen from the Baldi's Basics Kickstarter Exclusive Demo, originally I was going to fully model one myself in Anim8or. Though I did and I didn't exactly like the result.. so I just rip the asset. It sounds really wrong if you think of it like that. But it fits because it's still part of Baldi. Now I am going to experiment with Pro-Builder, to build a school building if I end up liking what I make, I'll make level transitions a thing, and the part where you start off outside of the school and take an elevator to the floors.
